A Very Bloomington Wedding!

This was such a fun and exciting wedding to be a part of. It was truly a special event because of the close friends that were involved, and because of how much of our wonderful city was incorporated into their day. Corky and Nessi have called Bloomington home for eight years, and in that time grown to love the many aspects of its culture, diversity, and charm. With family and friends coming in from overseas and many who had never been to Bloomington, they wanted to show what they saw, to their guests.

The festivities started with the rehearsal dinner and guest welcoming at FAR, the new weddings and events venue at fourth and rogers. Guests arrived to vintage records playing, several local beers and wines, and street tacos and tamales from Sazon Mexican Cuisine. It was a fun-filled night and great meet and greet for all of the guests. The next day, guests were invited to join the bride for breakfast at the Bloomington Farmer's Market.

Throughout the day the bridal party circled the downtown square, with hair and makeup in the bridal suite at Royale Salon, preparations at the Walnut Street Inn, and finally ending at the Fountain Square Ballroom. The groom and his men also spent the day on the square, starting and Andrew Davis Clothiers, followed by photos at the courthouse, and a break at Stefano's Ice Cafe.

Both the ceremony and reception took place in the Fountain Square Ballroom, with delicious catering and cocktails followed by an intimate ceremony by the Hoosier Officiant. The catering and cake from Feast were exquisite, and the bartenders from Malibu Grill did a fantastic job. I was truly impressed by everything throughout the entire day! It was so much fun photographing the work of all the Bloomington wedding vendors that helped make Corky and Nessi's day so special.
