Hello! I'm Seth Teeters, a Wedding Photographer for Bloomington and Indianapolis weddings, and always looking to travel. I am passionate about capturing authentic moments and creating beautiful, timeless images at one of the biggest moments in your life. I shoot a seamless combination of candid, unposed portraits and naturally created moments, capturing the full day while keeping you living in the moment. I want to tell your story with images you will want to share now and cherish forever.
My background — I started my career with a BSc. in Digital Arts and a focus on photography, but my journey started long before then. Growing up with a mother who was a wedding coordinator and second-generation florist, I've always loved the detail and care that goes into the wedding day, long before it even starts. For most of my life, I've gravitated towards photography, but my true passion came when those two worlds connected. I photographed my first wedding in 2017, and was immediately in love. Being able to capture the full range of emotions that take place on a wedding day, with friends and family gathering for such a significant moment in a couple's journey, is an immensely rewarding experience. I love that it gives me the opportunity to be both an artist and family historian, a photographer as well as documentarian, and combine the best of those worlds into an album that should be passed down as part of your family history.

Authenticity Matters
I want to capture your truest self. Human connection is central to the way I work and the best images I take come from real moments. My focus is on keeping you in the moment and enjoying the experience, with only a few subtle posing suggestions when needed.
It's a Celebration
My photography is about capturing and celebrating a very brief moment in life. I’m always working to create an album that brings back all the emotions of this moment in time — Not what it looked like, but what it felt like to be there.

I want you to love your images from the moment you see them, but my real goal is a timeless album that will be cherished for the rest of your life. I want to create the type of photography that grows in value because it captures the truest you.
Documentary vs Editorial
Labels can be confusing, and it doesn't make sense to be only one thing. As a photographer, I love it all — curated settings, unplanned moments, the fantasy and the reality. And, I capture it all. My favorite sessions include a plan, as well as room for whimsy, spontaneity, and a touch of magic.
THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE
Digital, Medium Format, 35mm Film, Instant
I believe in tangible photography that captures the soul of the moment. My digital camera is an essential tool for me to move quickly and capture the moment without distracting from it. My 35mm film cameras add a truer view of life, with all the grain and grit, and a soft clarity that can't be replicated. Medium format allows me to slow down the moment, with detail and depth, for an image that truly feels like art. And throughout it all, there is nothing more satisfying than the Instax or Polaroid that you can hold in your hand in that exact moment. When it all comes together with intentionality, there is nothing more beautiful, timeless, or true to the memory.
