This Midwest wedding collaboration brought together a beautiful assortment of European styling to the Indiana Memorial Union. Many of Bloomington's top wedding professionals came together to show the elegance and romance of this space. The tall stone features and muted palette set the backdrop for the living coral accents (this year's Pantone color of the year) to stand out. The day started outside the IMU followed by candid moments at an indoor coffee table with our bride and groom.
Our garden setting allowed the bride and groom to enjoy an outdoor dining experience and quiet moment together. The bride featured Sophia's Bridal & Tux with hair and makeup from Lumos Hair Salon and the groom was tailored by Andrew Davis Clothiers. The setting was provided by BBJ Linen and Perfect Parties, with florals and bouquet from Cathy Teeters Beautiful Weddings.
The circular wedding arch with a custom script aisle runner was a focal point for the ceremony in the IMU's Tree Suite Garden. As the bride and groom took their place, it provided the perfect backdrop for a stylishly modern wedding ceremony. All florals came from Cathy Teeters Beautiful Weddings, with the aisle runner and custom calligraphy from Creative in Bloom.
Following the ceremony, the scene changes in the IMU's Tudor Room, starting with a showcase wine bar and signature cocktails from IU Catering. The custom cocktail list was hand lettered from Creative in Bloom and provided a touch of romantic elegance to the setting.
Leaving the greeting space, the Tudor Room opens to high ceilings with oak paneling and rich cultural elements that celebrate the historic IU campus and culture. The table setting matched elements from the day while creating an intimate space for celebration. Small details adorned every aspect of this setting with a simplicity that allowed for elements to tie into each other without competing. The beautiful cake from Sugar & Spice Bakery showed gold flake and living coral florals.
